Choosing Materials You Can Actually Handle First

Section 02

Choosing Materials You Can Actually Handle First

The palette is settled before the drawings are finished, and it starts from how the kitchen will be used rather than from a mood board. Worktops in stone or quartz are chosen for what gets spilled on them, cabinet boxes are specified to stay stable in humidity, and every finish under consideration comes as a sample you can see in the actual room, under the actual light. A colour that works in a showroom can read entirely differently on a wall facing west. Deciding this early is what keeps the later stages from being revisited.
Seeing the Kitchen in 3D Before Anything Is Built

Section 03

Seeing the Kitchen in 3D Before Anything Is Built

Every project is rendered before it goes into production, so the layout, the lighting and the materials can be judged as they will look rather than as they read on a plan. That is when it becomes obvious that a tall unit blocks a window, that two finishes fight each other, or that the island is a hundred millimetres too long. Changes at that stage cost a redraw. The same changes after installation cost a cabinet. This is the point where it is worth taking time rather than agreeing quickly.

Highlights

What the Design Service Includes

01

A site visit where the room is measured at several points rather than once

02

Layout options drawn to the room, not adapted from a standard configuration

03

Material samples to see and handle in the room before anything is committed

04

Photorealistic 3D of the finished kitchen, with revisions made on screen

05

Measured drawings signed off before production, so the price is fixed against a specification

What the Design Service Includes

Ready to see it in 3D?

Send us the room dimensions or a floor plan, tell us how many people cook and what has to be stored, and let us know if any appliances are already chosen. The site visit follows, and the first layout options come back drawn to your room rather than adapted from a template.
